Mr. Jeff Tarleton Dear Jeff, Thank you so much for the quality service that you always provide our school and our district when we purchase Gerstung equipment. Many years ago a popular author of an elementary physical education textbook gave the name of your company as a source to purchase a vaulting box for our educational gymnastics curriculum. That purchase was the first of several as our school and schools across our district have collected many pieces of your fine equipment. The Gerstung equipment is strong, sturdy, easy to configure, and very colorful. We have had no repairs or problems with any pieces that we own. Our equipment has stood the test of time and daily use by large numbers of children. I appreciate so much the time you and others at your company have given on each occasion that I have requested planning and pricing. We have collected our equipment through several grants, funding from the school district, and money from school fund-raisers. Each time I have called to say I have a certain amount to spend, you have been so gracious and professional to look at our inventory, make a suggestion for a next purchase, and then help us get the most for our money. A few years ago you helped to design a large movement lab, and then our district decided not to go through with the building project. You did not seem bothered by the time that you invested with us with no resulting purchase. I am glad to say that the plans for the movement lab have been resurrected, and it appears that construction will begin soon. NOW, we will be able to use your flooring materials and acquire more equipment in the future. Brain stimulation and brain development of our students, as they climb and play on the equipment, are invaluable to their cognitive performance. Students also develop abilities such as body image, balance, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, foot-eye coordination, laterality, and directionality. Of course the development of muscle strength and endurance, muscle coordination and flexibility is important, also. All those benefits are great, but I think that “icing on the cake” is the sheer joy of moving as expressed by the cheers when I announce we are going to the “climbing room”. I look forward to working with you and your company as we make final plans in designing and equipping our movement lab. I can not wait to implement your suggestion for wall bars! Sincerely, Kathy Clark, NBCT |
